Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort boasts an impressive 400 inches of annual snowfall and the highest summit elevation in the state of California at a height of 11,053ft. Located in the southwest corner of the volcanic Long Valley Caldera on the eastern edge of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountain Range; Mammoth Mountain lives up to its name by offering over 3,500 skiable acres and a 3,100ft vertical drop.

The resort is home to modern facilities, excellent terrain options, and an extended ski season that can sometimes last into July. The mountain has a variety of expansive bowls, tree skiing, wide open groomers, steep chutes and world-class terrain parks.

Most visitors stay in the town of Mammoth Lakes, California. The resort is a great starting point to explore the Sierra Nevada Mountains and is only about an hour drive from Yosemite National Park.
